Sales Internship & Client Service Internship In Amsterdam

Note: We are looking for team members all year round, therefore the deadline or starting date does not represent the actual dates.

Our company is a worldwide content provider of product information for the IT, Telecom, CE, Lighting and Office sectors. We work together with important vendors such as Philips, HP, Sony, Toshiba and others. The most important retailers and distributors of the sectors are our clients. Our datasheets are used by more than 45 000 online users worldwide in websites such as Media Markt, Euronics, Saturn, Buy.com, Amazon.com, etc. We work together with main distributors in the IT sector such as Ingram Micro or Tech Data. 
Our company is growing incredibly fast and we would like to develop some new markets and improve and support ongoing markets.

There are several positions open, both for Sales and Marketing and for Marketing & Client Service Support. Fluency in English is always a must. 

About responsibilities:

1) Sales 

Among other tasks you will be in charge of: 

• Market research, if it is needed. 
• Increase brand awareness (mailings, newsletters, reports) 
• Built up channel media relationships with marketing purposes 
• Offer assistance in coordinating/preparing event participation 
• Design and operate a social media plan and support a SEO plan. 
• Build a database of contacts with mailing purposes.
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills 
• Self-confidence, friendly and customer driven 
• Represent our company at events, if it is the case 
• Coordinate/manage event follow up 
• And all other reasonable tasks & responsibilities assigned to you by the
board of the company.

2) Marketing & Client Service Support

Among other tasks you will be in charge of: 

• Support Social Media and Communication with clients and prospects 
• Market research, if it is needed. 
• Increase brand awareness (mailings, newsletters, reports) 
• Built up channel media relationships with marketing purposes 
• Offer assistance in coordinating/preparing event participation 
• Strong organizational skills 
• Self-confidence, friendly and customer driven 
• Represent our company at events, if it is the case 
• And all other reasonable tasks & responsibilities assigned to you by the
board of the company.

About you

You are: 
• Creative 
• Not afraid of contacting people
• Sociable and reliable
• Have a good understanding of marketing and brand awareness activities
• Have a good command of English + another European language (other languages which can be used for working purposes are considered a big plus)
• Goal orientated
• Have a good eye for detail
• Organized and communicative
