Description: 

The intern will be involved in experimental studies on circadian clock in mammals, mostly using rodent models, including transgenic mice and rats. The student will learn techniques used to assess the function of circadian clocks in the brain and various peripheral tissues related to metabolic disorders (colon, pancreas, liver, etc.). These techniques will span from the systemic level (behavior) through organ level (real time imaging of clock in the organotypic tissue explants) to cellular level (real time recording of clock in cell line models). The internship will be performed in friendly laboratory environment.

Additional Information
