General information

Duration:

Commitment:
Part-Time
Description:

We are looking for a highly competent, committed and organised young person for a 6-month part-time internship, starting at the end of Feb 2024.

Our ideal candidate has working proficiency in English and Spanish.

Our work is driven by a strong commitment to environmental and social justice. We coalesce decades of experience in social impact and systems change design to support public as well as corporate actors to co-create the regenerative and resilient world that we deserve to live in. Our approaches are diverse, multi-actor focused and fuelled by systems thinking:  The whole is more than the sum of its parts!

The work you will focus on is highly diverse and you will have the opportunity to take on different roles in several projects. A particular focus of the internship will be working on complex systems maps alongside our highly experienced colleagues. You will get trained in our systems mapping methodology and apply that on real life client projects - with private clients or regional governments.

We are particularly excited to find support for our systems maps with the Generalitat de Catalunya. For the last 3 years, we have been working together with the Catalan government to illustrate complex dynamics and to empower actors across all sectors (public administration, business, academia and civil society) to identify crucial intervention points for some of the major social and environmental sustainability challenges faced by regional populations (e.g. transformative innovation, the challenge of chronicity and dependency in the region of Bages and systemic investing).

We, unfortunately, cannot offer any financial compensation at this point. We, however, will gladly assist you in applying for financial support through Erasmus+ and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programs. All our previous interns/apprentices have so far received funding from these and other programs.

This internship is intended as a stepping stone for a longer-term consultancy relationship with RIF team.

Please, before submitting an application, review our website and Linkedin in detail and make sure you demonstrate well in your cover letter your understanding of ReImagined Futures and why in particular you are interested in an internship with us. Generic applications will be automatically rejected.
