Call for Internship – Social Media Heroes & Frontier Researchers

The Caucasus-Asia Center, under its newly launched programme- ‘Global Coalition for Frontier Markets’,  is happy to make this public announcement for our next cohort of interns. If you are young, proactive and eager to gain new experiences that will add to your personal and professional development, then this internship is perfect for you!  

The selected interns will conduct social media promotions, research and relationship building with our partners (both existing and prospective). The internship will be remotely conducted; however, interns will be closely working with assigned Team Coordinators/ Experts. Upon successful completion of the internship, we will provide a Certificate of as well as future recommendations letters to the interns.

Our center is a non-partisan organization working in the direction of connecting people and businesses between the Greater Caucasus and countries in Asia. We bring in a fresh Asian perspective of looking at the market related developments and opportunities in the Caucasus, whilst considering the 21st century as an Asian Century. The GCFM aims to connect stakeholders in other frontier countries/ regions worldwide and bring them under one single umbrella. The center is registered as a non-profit body in New Delhi, India and it has team members and supporters in different countries worldwide, such as the US, U.K., Russia and Japan, etc.  

• Duration: Six months commencing on the 16th January 2021 the 31th July 2021.  
• Number of Interns Intake : Five position available to be selected
• Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master level students of international relations/ any associated discipline
  • Students who graduated within the past 2 years are eligible
  • Students have a good command of the English language, and basic/ fluent command of Russian language preferred. 

Terms & Conditions:

1/ The internship will be unpaid, and interns would be responsible for covering basic expenses related to performing their tasks being assigned, such as internet, local phone call and other basic expenses. However, we will remunerate travel related expenses, if being assigned as part of any internship project.

2/ Unsatisfactory performance may lead to the termination of the internship at the collective initiative of Team Coordinators, subject to an appropriate notice period of at least one week.

3/ There is no expectancy of employment at the end of the internship. However, we would be happy to continue our association and working relationship with the interns, even to the extent of providing a monthly stipend, if their internship performance is exemplary.
