Job Description

 

Based in Barcelona, we are ANAHATA - a brand new Spiritual Centre opening in January 2022.  We have our base in Poble Sec and have invested in a beautiful space of 370 m2 with plenty of natural light and a great energy.  In Sanskrit Anahata refers to our 4th chakra - the heart - and that is where we live from.  Our aim is to assist in raising the vibration of humanity by putting on daily activities for spiritual seekers designed for people to CONNECT, EXPRESS and find their JOY.

 

The role

 

Our 6 month unpaid Social Media Internship combines several exciting aspects.  As a brand new centre, we are looking for a talented Social Media Intern to join the founding team and help us build ANAHATA from the ground up.  Your role will assist in providing content and publishing for social media (Facebook, Instagram and updating our website).

 

You will gain expertise and insights in the setting up of a company, while working alongside a fun, committed and high-vibrating team.

 

You will

 

  • Create, edit and manage daily content across our Social Media channels

  • Proactively manage the community by replying to all enquiries and comments on Facebook and Instagram as well as monitoring daily interactions to encourage audience engagement.

  • Capture online content and compile Social Media reports

  • Help build and manage our online community of influencers

  • Support Anahata clients over whatsapp, by email and through Social Media

  • Assist on front desk as required 

 

Requirements

 

This is you

 

  • You are on the spiritual path and you know there is more to this world than meets the eye

  • You speak and write both English and Spanish fluently

  • You are confident using Microsoft office

  • You are highly organised

  • You work with integrity, honesty and autonomy.

  • You have excellent attention to detail

  • Your spelling and grammar is top notch

  • You have experience in Social Media management 

  • You are up to date with the latest trends in Social Media

  • You are able to start your internship in November or December 2021

  • You are flexible on working hours and can work some weekends 

  • It´s a plus if you have experience in content creation such as taking photographs

Additional Information

This is a brand new centre opening up in Barcelona in January 2022. Although this is an unpaid internship, you will receive a full unlimited monthly membership to our centre and the opportunity to stay on with us with paid employment once your internship comes to an end.
