Software development internship

NDB, Inc. is a company that was established for the development and manufacturing of Nuclear Diamond Battery (NDB), a type of battery that is made from recycled nuclear waste that has a tremendously long battery life (several thousand years). A perpetual and green battery solution that could benefit a wide range of applications such as Space Electronics, Military, Medical, Internet of Things (IoT), Nuclear Plant, Automotive, Aviation, Consumer electronics and many more. NDB, Inc. sees this technology as a means of creating a cleaner and greener future where innovation and environment could coexist.

The duration of the internship is flexible (2 months minimum, longer periods preferred)

The internship can be tailored to personal interest & capabilities and could include development & support of the website design, SEO optimization, blog creation, training materials, social media management.

A software engineer is expected to work on a wide range of products developed under NDB. Predominantly, the software engineer will be an active part of the PCB technology, VPN, automobile and aerospace projects, where he or she will offer expertise in software design and prototype fabrication of onboard computer programs for cars and aeroplanes as well as develop our electronic financial suite and VPN technologies. However other project that could benefit from his or her expertise, in particular in the production of improvised laboratory programs (such as systematic data acquisition codes) and simple simulations will also be placed under their care. Ideally, our software engineer should have prior experience in the industry with a network of peers in the field as well as have excellent communication skills to share and develop their ideas with others in his or her team, namely, the UI/UX developer. We would also like them to have a working knowledge of the following computer languages: Java, C, C#, Phyton, PHP and Ruby. Although not mandatory software engineers should preferably have some experience with development in the automobile/aerospace industry and/or the financial industry.

- B.A/MSc degree, preferably in Software engineering

- Must be able to maintain project confidentiality
