OUR PROJECT

PostLab is currently developing a collaborative artificial intelligence (AI) software platform. Its aim is to make readily available the tools developed by Academic researchers, so they can make it out of the lab into the big wide world more easily. Hence the name of the company PostLab. Our desire is to see years of valuable research that usually end up at best in the hands of a few, or at worst sitting on a lab's digital shelf, flourish in the hands of a larger public and finally get to be understood and used like they were intended to in the first place. To delve further into the heart of the matter, we invite you to look into our website : https://www.postlab.fr/

INTERNSHIP MISSION

We are a small, early-stage start-up and team, based in the bustling center of the city of Marseille. The city enjoys an insane amount of sunlight and scenic beauty with the sea at its feet, a beautiful spot to explore in all seasons. Our team is a bit like the city, with a blend of multi-cultural, scientific and teaching background with a broad international vision. Currently we are in the process of developing our website and AI SaaS platform.

Some tasks the internship mission may focus on:

  • Review the specification requirements and create test scenarios

  • Run thorough functional tests from a command line, leaving room for manual

    intervention.

  • Reporting/Recording, qualifying and checking defects as well as issuing reports

  • GUI (Graphical User Interface) testing

  • Based on the result of the tests, identify the software's caracteristics for the further development of graphical interfaces

  • Initiate a methodology to automatise the testing process

Our working hours are flexible and and we are open to different types of internships, whether it is: compulsory for your Master's in Computer Science or related field, on a voluntary basis or you have recently graduated. And whether you are seeking a full-time or part-time internship. Developers with a Phd or studying towards a PhD are also welcome to apply as we could also offer a research experience.

Length period: from 3 months to 12 months.

Applications: ongoing.

Full-time (37.5hrs/week) or part-time internship possible (30hrs/week).
