Wellington School is seeking an enthusiastic individual to come and experience life within a busy and thriving day and boarding school situated in the market town of Wellington in Somerset.
Starting from 1st October 2017, the Spanish Language Assistant will play an important role within the Modern Foreign Languages Department supporting Teaching Staff and Students. The post holder should be a fluent Spanish speaker who has a willingness to engage with students and help them to improve their Spanish language skills. Working in small groups, or one to one, the Assistants play a vital role in students developing in this subject.
The postholder will be provided with free accommodation and meals as they will have the opportunity to live alongside the Boarding Staff and experience all that the school has to offer.
The role is for 25 hours per week however depending on the individual and their skills and interests, there may be the opportunity to undertake more as the school has a variety of extra curricular opportunities available which many previous ERASMUS students have become involved in. The role is largely unpaid however any hours worked over 25 per week will be remunerated.
