We are thrilled to announce an internship position for the 2023-2024 academic year at Aksaray Atatürk High School, nestled in the vibrant city of Aksaray, Turkey. This internship is a unique chance for you to immerse yourself in the world of education, collaborate with seasoned professionals, and contribute to shaping the educational landscape through Erasmus+ school partnership projects.

Position: English Language Education and Erasmus+ Project Development Intern

Duration: 3 to 6 months (flexible)

Commitment: 4 days a week, 20 hours per week

About Us: AAL is renowned for its dedication to excellence in English language education. Our diverse student body, aged 14 to 18, encompasses various English proficiency levels from A2 to C1 according to the CEFR. Our accomplished educators create an engaging learning atmosphere that nurtures linguistic and personal growth.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an English Language Education and Erasmus+ Project Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

Assist experienced teachers in crafting and delivering captivating English language lessons.

Collaborate on the creation of educational materials and resources.

Provide personalized support to students, bolstering their language skills.

Contribute to classroom activities, discussions, and projects.

Receive training in preparing Erasmus+ school partnership initiatives.

Gain valuable insights into classroom management and teaching methodologies.

Immerse yourself in a multicultural educational environment.


Requirements: To be considered for this internship, you must:

Be a university student studying the English language, educational sciences, or humanities.

Hold an Erasmus grant from your university for the specified academic year.

Have a strong passion for education and a genuine interest in working with high school students.

Possess excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Be available to spend a minimum of 20 hours per week at the school over 4 days.

Demonstrate an eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute positively to the school's ethos.



Practical teaching experience in a real classroom setting.

Mentorship from seasoned English language educators.

Comprehensive training in developing Erasmus+ school partnership projects.

We can not offer any financial compensation or accomodation but we will assist the candidates to find safe and comfy flats around our school.

The intern will have the opportunity to be involved in Erasmus KA2 school project creation and submission (if starts before April 2024)

The duration and internship dates are flexible. The school is open from September to mid June so we will be accepting applications for these months.

IMPORTANT: We will need to ask for a confirmation letter/document or e-mail from sending HEI to prove that Erasmus mobility is/will be approved.
