General information
Our school aims are all related to linguistic competence through the CLIL approach and a school radio (Spanish, English, French), inclusión and gender equality, ICT, and environmental issues. We´ve developed an eTwinning Project related to coding and robotics for two years (Rob&Me) and will continue next year. We also want to set up a new project about environmental issues and 2030 agenda goals.
Our school has got the Eramus+ accreditation and an eTwinning School label. It is located in Santa Brígida, 13 km away from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in a very nice natural environment. There is a good public bus service to/from the city. Erasmus+ coordinator and management team will be helping and guiding the Erasmus assistant.
The assistant’s mission is, together with the Erasmus+ coordinator, the Erasmus student will help implementing ICT and environmental projects, contributing on own expertise and experience on these topics as well as inclusión and languages. We expect the assistant to help to create a friendly, active, creative, sociable, and communicative school; a place of research, learning, and reflection that is good for teachers, pupils, and families, to strengthen good relations in the school community; we insist on the importance of teamwork, collaboration, to promote the improvement of basic and generic skills, creativity and the creation of positive habits for lifelong learning, promoting the inclusion of disadvantaged students, preventing learning difficulties and facilitating the transition between different levels and stages.
