Tour guide internship

COEO is a company whose main aim is to provide the best experiences in Málaga, whether you are a tourist, an international living in Málaga or a local. 

For this reason, we are looking for interns that can help us provide the best activities, in order to create unforgettable moments and make friends in the city. 

Some of the activities provided are: beach volley, hiking, running, yoga and conversation classes (Spanish, English, Italian, German and French). 

Additionally, we offer tours in Malaga and all around Andalusia.

We look for a dynamic Tour Guide Intern that likes to stay among people and can help us to organize and manage our tours, activities and conversation activities. 

Your responsibilities are:

• Learning our tours and brief history of Spain

• Learning abilities of a good tour guide such as group organizing and public speaking

• Help organising conversation activities in different languages (English, Italian, German or French) 

• Improving your Spanish

• Accompanying the tour guide on trips to other cities in Andalucía

• Promoting company events – giving out flyers and information about our tours and Málaga in general

• Help organizing events

• Working together with other interns

• Translation of blog contents 

• Support of related activities
   

Required Skills/Abilities:

The duration is flexible but not less than 3 months.

• Excellent communication and written skills (at least English B2 is compulsory)

• Additional language is required (Italian, French or German)

• Knowledge of Spanish is required, even if basic level

• Proactive and professional worker; 

• Flexibility at work (timetable, tasks etc);

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Creative and effective problem-solving skills

• Excellent skill to assist clients with a calm, courteous, and helpful manner and attitude
