Turing Talent- Data Scientist / Data Engineer at Ikigai Data

Ikigai Data is a careers data and insights company. Our mission is to help everyone achieve healthy, fulfilling and sustained employment. Responsible for the building of a product in collaboration with data scientists and the tech team. 

What you will be working on:

• Responsible for the standardisation of new features from the existing data which has to be used as query dimension.

• Developing algorithms and flowcharts to create new systems

• Develop robust models for ‘recommendation algorithms’ based on multiple characteristics.

• Use any natural language processing techniques needed, from simple regular expressions to vector embeddings.

• Collaboratively work on testing and refining the recommendation algorithm in rapid subsequent sprints. 

• Salary:  £1,500 - £2,100/month

   

Skills we look for:

• Hands-on experience in working with data. Including data collection, data cleansing, data engineering, not only developing theoretical algorithms. 

• Experience can include personal projects, university projects, internships or work experiences

Other qualities we look for:

• Good understanding of natural language processing, ontologies, Python and/or Kotlin.  

• Experience or interest in the recruitment industry and/or are familiarity with occupational taxonomies.
