Video Editor Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Video Editor Intern to join our team. As a Video Editor Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in video production and post-production. You will create and edit compelling video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and other digital channels. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in video editing, storytelling, and multi-channel content creation.

Job description- what you will get to do:

• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and objectives for videos.

• Assist in editing raw footage into engaging and visually appealing social media videos.

• Apply video editing techniques to enhance the quality of social media videos, including color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.

• Utilize video editing software (we use Adobe Premiere Pro) to edit and export social media videos.

• Trim and organize video clips specifically for social media platforms to ensure a seamless final product.

• Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects into social media videos as required.

• Implement feedback and revisions from the Marketing team and stakeholders, with a focus on optimizing videos for social media engagement.

• Stay up to date with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and best practices for social media videos.

• Assist in managing and organizing video assets and project files for social media videos.

• Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the overall quality and shareability of social media video content.

 Main requirements- you should have:

• Knowledge of video editing software (we use Adobe Premiere Pro).

• Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and various export settings.

• Understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, timing, and storytelling.

• Basic knowledge of using animation software (such as Adobe After Effects) to create animations for videos is a plus.

• A portfolio or sample of previous video editing work is highly desirable but not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Passion for video editing and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

• Willingness to learn and develop yourself with the support of the team and not afraid to experience new things;

• Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Other languages are a plus;

• Team-work skills and experience to bring together diverse views and communicate/collaborate effectively;

• Willingness to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment and disposition to take on multiple responsibilities and deadlines where prioritization is key;
