Biomika Multimedia Studio is a startup company in beautiful Ljubljana, nominated for European Green Capital in 2016. We produce digital products for children and adults, aiming to build more strong social values and ethics. The main keywords regarding our projects are education, meditation, and compassion. We are looking for an intern who would like to collaborate on StarKid Universe, a project devoted to creating meditation stories for children. The stories are a fusion of fairy tales and breathing exercises. Visually they are represented by puppets, recorded on video, and enriched with 2D animation. 

We are looking for someone who loves to experiment and looks for new ways to present and create multimedia. The most crucial technical skill we seek is innovative and creative video shooting and editing. If you have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a team environment, you are someone we want to meet. 

Job Description:

• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) for internal company announcement videos, artistic videos, promotional social videos, product marketing videos, online course videos, and content for the company’s youtube channels
• Video editing with your favorite video editor program meets the time, aesthetic, ethical, and broadcast-quality standards
• Organize shootings, write technical scripts, and storyboards, evaluate, discuss, and propose ideas for video projects
• Work independently, as well as part of a team
• Inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/SFX, archiving project media

Requirements:

• Erasmus Internship Grant
• BA/MA student in film, media, television, radio, sound, or other new media arenas
• Need to possess technical skills in video and audio production
• Has a knack for storytelling and a creative eye
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work and solve production problems independently and as part of a team
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
• (Preferably) professional experience
• (Preferably) someone with graphic design skills
