For our Web Developer internship, duties involve building new websites, developing existing websites, working individually or as part of a team and giving a brief with clearly defined goals to work towards.

This position is perfect for anybody who is interested in: Web developing, Front end developer and web design.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

To be successful in this role you would need to:

• Understand how to build websites

• Have a good knowledge of coding

• Have an eye for detail

• Understand clients requirements and achieve their goals and objectives

• Find creative solutions to problems

• Take a website design and turn it into a functioning website

• Have an understanding of the most up to date coding languages 

• Be aware of what's possible when building websites

• Be able to understand website usage and their goals

• Understand UI/UX

The ideal candidate:

The successful applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Be experienced in building responsive websites

• Have a portfolio in websites

• Have a portfolio in web dev abilities

Our ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in HTML and CSS and an understanding of PHP and Javascript, organisation, time management and analytical skills are fundamental for this role, as well as the ability to prioritise tasks and projects. We are looking for someone with an understanding of SEO and great analytical skills. 

The person chosen will be passionate about web design and about delivering a good service to users. We are looking for someone good at problem-solving and able to present ideas and solutions. Being hardworking and enthusiastic are key attributes of our ideal candidate.
