We are a meeting/events venue & coworking space in the prestigious Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, in the heart of historical Brussels.

Our aim is to provide a favorable, refined and convivial ecosystem in which startups, enterprises, freelancers and every professional can develop its business and grow faster.

Coworking Les Galeries is also a meeting & events venue hosting conventions, launching presentations, social drinks, seminars, art exhibitions,  conferences, workshops and community building events. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative intern who is interested in Marketing and Event management related topics and eager to learn something new. Moreover, we are looking for a self-driven person who has excellent time management and is interested in our project. Minimal internship period is 2 months, although the 6-month period is possible as well.

Required skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Positive, energetic and flexible attitude;
  • Can work independently;
  • Ability to multitask, take initiative and adapt to unforeseen circumstances;
  • High level of attention to details;
  • Fluency in English (at least B2 level), French/ Dutch is an advantage;
  • Skills in Social Media Marketing, Content creation , Social Media Management;
  • Interest in arts is an advantage; 
  • Ability to generate ideas;
  • Motivated and eager to learn more;
  • Ability and willingness to work on weekends and late on the evenings (if there are bookings of venue);
  • Able to participate in Erasmus+ program.  

 

Main duties include:

  • Marketing and communications activities - The Intern will manage our social media content and activity and will create content for digital marketing, working on marketing campaigns.  (Check and update all Social Media pages: Instagram,Facebook, LinkedIn or Content writing for the website). Also you will use Social media to promote our company and our activities.  You should keep up to date with news around areas that could interest our members, from industry specific information to activities going on in the city, and come up with a communication plan to bring these to the members on a regular basis. You will also help with the organization of events and other activities.
  • Administration and routine tasks in the space – some administrative tasks will also be included in the everyday job, like answering letters and organizing events and lunches, etc. you will also be responsible for the upkeep of the space, which would involve things like opening/closing the space during the week, and keeping it tidy and organized.  
  • HR activities - You will participate in the future intern selection processes and do competitor analysis (regularly monitor and analyze social and digital activity from competitors).
