Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Journalist intern to join our team. During your internship, you will manage and present text and video contents about startups’ news around the world on a regular basis.

You will be responsible for the following duties:

 

  • Search and present news stories about Startups around the world.

  • Deliver engaging and targeted copy of news to the audience through various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

  • Perform journalistic research and write trending pieces and histories.

  • Effectively communicate with an international multi-functional team.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

 

  • Willingness to learn and work as part of the team with passion about the relevant field.

  • Passion about technology.

  • Understanding of the various social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.

  • Strong writing and editing skills.

  • Ability to work both individually and in a team.

  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).

  • Positive attitude, desire to learn, and being able to work well in a collective environment.  

  • Good multitasking skills.

  • Result driven and creative thinking.

  • Outstanding communication skills.

As an asset:

As an Project Manager/ Coordinator Intern at Startup Greece, you are responsible for the successful implementation of our projects and initiatives. This may include to discuss the fundamental ideas of a project (i.e. strengths weaknesses, practicability and usability), to monitor the comprehensive organization of each project, to analyze and evaluate the implementation of products and their impact, to produce database reports, to provide reviews and comments on other project reports, to analyze information, to determine variable solutions and to make recommendations. Additionally, you will manage parts of project efforts.

We encourage you as an intern to have self-responsibility in all your tasks. You will evaluate the performance of processes, create new systems and procedures and you will work closely with our team. Innovative ideas located outside the box, applied creativity, and an inquisitive mindset are very desirable.

  • Record and edit videos and sound projects

  • Select the program format for the final output and the creation of static and motion graphics

  • Set deadlines and select optimal forms of the media for our projects

 Obligatory Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or diploma in film, art, theater or in another relevant field

  • Proven experience in filming

  • Very good understanding of various camera types

As a Web Designer Intern at  Startup Greece you are responsible for all aspects of creating and designing our websites. This may include designing the look and layout, writing and editing content, the creation of  features, determining technical requirements, updating websites, the creation of back-up files, and  code problem solving. Additionally, you will work closely with department managers for keeping the sites up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks. 

Our Web Designer interns are playing a key role to represent Startup Greece in the public. We encourage you as an intern to have self-responsibility in all your tasks. You will evaluate the performance of processes, create new systems and procedures and you will work closely with our team. Innovative ideas located outside the box, applied creativity, and an inquisitive mindset are very desirable. 

From our candidates we expect to have good knowledge of web design, animation, multimedia design, content management, multimedia programming and technology, and excellent knowledge in Wordpress. 

As an advantage you must have experience in databases, web page scripting, programming, digital imaging, multimedia design or web development.

Photo AiD company develops an Artificial Intelligence-based photo editor available in mobile app stores (Passport Photo App Android and Passport Photo App iPhone) and as a website. The tool allows users to take a selfie that in just 3 seconds would be transformed into a professional document photo meeting all the requirements concerning (e.g. background, size, or colors) the document for which the customer applies. Within less than 2 years we managed to prepare the best online passport photo tool available! Now, we are looking for someone to help us build our brand recognition via digital marketing.

Who you are:

  • Marketing profile: People interested in SEO content writing and/or digital marketing in general. - Experience is not obligatory but it will be an advantage among other candidates.

  • Translation profile: People interested in the website & mobile apps interface and content translation and proofreading.

Your tasks will include:

  •           Accompanying groups in cultural activities as tours around city, bike tours, shows, events and visiting various attractions offered by the city,
  •           Supporting with planning trips and creating cultural programs,
  •           Supporting with professional visits of the groups,
  •           Supporting with preparation of Spanish classes (level A1-A2) based on interactive activities,
  •           Supporting with preparation of documentation,
  •           Supporting with translating (oral and written),
  •           Work with social media of the company.

 

Your profile:

    • knowledge of Polish language or Romanian language 
  •           Communicative, open-minded for new experience and challenges, responsible, well-organized, positive and feeling like learning new things person.

The training held in Universal Mobility will allow you to develop both Spanish and English.
