Description: 

Fundraising Assistant will be making contact with individuals or companies who may be interested in donating to our charity...

  • Corporate fundraising – arranging company sponsorship or setting up schemes for staff and customers to donate
  • Major donor fundraising – looking for individuals that may have an interest in our charity and wish to donate a large sum of money
  • Legacy fundraising – helping people to leave an amount of money to our charity in their will
  • Events – organising events like charity balls, concerts or sports events
  • Researching, developing and planning new fundraising strategies
  • Managing door-to-door and street collections
  • Recruiting, training and inspiring volunteers
  • Keeping records of fundraising activities and money raised
  • Controlling budgets and meet targets for the amount of money raised
  • Assisting and completing any other tasks required by the CEO and other managers
  • MANDATORY FUNDRAISING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK (due to the nature of the organisation)

 

Please note this is a voluntary / unpaid role.

No previous experience is required as full training would be provided.

In return, volunteers / trainees often gain experience of an office environment, and learn new skills or develop existing ones.

Office Working Time: 9:00 to 17:00 (9am to 5pm), Monday to Friday.

Remember, our office is closed on Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays in England and wales.

You can start traineeship in any month of the year and for as long as you want. We offer work placements all year round.
