Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Intern to join our team. The Business Development Intern will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for WP Event Manager and WP Food Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through research, networking, and outreach.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, including event organizers, restaurants, catering companies, and food service providers.

  • Understand client needs and requirements and tailor product offerings to meet their specific business objectives.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of WP Event Manager and WP Food Manager products.

  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns to support sales efforts.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management on sales progress and achievements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

  • Familiarity with the event management or food service industry is a plus.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
