Join Our Team!
We're seeking a motivated professional to lead commercial opportunities for large-scale biochar projects across Europe, particularly in France, Belgium, and potentially the Netherlands, Germany, and Luxembourg. You will be instrumental in developing opportunities for new biochar carbon removal parks throughout the region.
Your Role Includes:

Market Development and Lead Generation

Proactively identifying and cultivating leads for new biochar carbon removal parks throughout Europe, with an emphasis on France, Belgium, and potential expansions in the Netherlands, Germany, and Luxembourg.

Utilising provided tools and industry knowledge to analyse market trends and uncover commercial opportunities.

Project Site Search and Selection

Conducting comprehensive searches to identify and evaluate potential sites for new biochar facilities.

Assessing site suitability based on logistics, regulatory environment, and proximity to necessary resources.

Heat as a Service (HaaS) Development
-
Exploring and identifying opportunities for Heat as a Service (HaaS) as a component of our renewable energy supply offerings.

Engaging with potential customers to understand their energy needs and propose tailored HaaS solutions.

Feedstock Supply Identification
-
Identifying and securing sustainable feedstock supplies required for biochar production.

Building relationships with suppliers and ensuring a steady and reliable feedstock supply chain.

Biomass Demand Identification
-
Identifying and engaging with industries and organisations with a demand for biomass.

Developing strategies to match biomass supply with demand, optimising the use of available resources.

Grant and Funding Opportunities
-
Researching and identifying relevant grants and funding opportunities to support biochar project development.

If applicable, participating in grant writing and application processes to secure funding.

Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals with:

Background or experience in business development, sales, sustainability, engineering, and/or project management within the renewable energy or environmental sector

Fluency in English and French is a must. Additional language is a plus

Understanding of biochar technology and its commercial applications

Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills

Exceptional writing and communication skills

A high level of motivation, flexibility, creativity, and a proactive mindset

The ability to work autonomously and drive impact
