We are Pilar C. and Álvaro G., international project coordinators at Colegio Marista Nuestra Señora del Carmen, located in Badajoz (Spain), 8 km from the Portuguese border.
Our staff is made up of more than 70 teachers. Around 1200 pupils attend our school every day. We teach from 3 to 18 years old students.
Our school has been participating in the Erasmus+ programme for several years, having received the status of Accredited Centre in the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union three years ago.
The aim of this e-mail is none other than to offer our school as a receiving centre for trainees. The participants have to be students at University. These opportunities are also open to recent graduates (in the last 12 months). For the participants it will be an unrepeatable experience in which they will have the possibility of training by teaching in a very complete school center.
In case you are an interested student you should receive an Erasmus+ grant through your university. We can receive one trainee teacher through Erasmus Student Mobility for intership abroad. it would be from september-october to january-february. We are open to listen proposals).
It would be great if you are native Portuguese/English speaker as we teach Portuguese in our school from 3rd Primary to 4th ESO and English from Kindergarden to Bachillerato. It would also be very interesting if you are fluent also in other languages. The idea is for you to do your internship with us, accompanying several teachers. We also have in mind that you can work with the students as a Portuguese/English conversation assistant or teach in Portuguese, Spanish or English if you are fluent in any of these languages.
If your passion is sport, we have many sports courts and a large sports pavilion where you can play sports. You can also collaborate with the Sports Club in the afternoons. Volleyball, football, basketball, badmintong, athletics, etc. ... Who knows!!
In addition to conducting a virtual interview with the candidates we are interested in, it would be necessary to have a criminal record certificate issued by your country.
