English Language Assistant

We are a state school located in the city of Barcelona. Our school uses an innovative methodology that includes cooperative work, projects, corners and workshops. It is also a student-centered methodology, where the children have the main role in their learning process. Moreover, we take care of our student’s emotions and we enhance their participation in the school and class decisions though class and school assemblies.

We teach English from 1st grade to 6th grade (ages 6 to 12). We emphasize oral conversation and that’s why we work in small groups once per week. The students create their own study materials.

We are looking for an enthusiastic English language assistant to collaborate with the English teacher and help us improve the speaking skills of our pupils. Having an English speaking person in our school will motivate and enrich not only our students but the whole school community. It will also be a value that the intern manages the new technologies.

There is no financial compensation, but lunch is included.
