Description: 

We are a small business consultancy based in Tallinn, The Sophisticated Geek OÜ. Currently, we are looking for a Graphic Design Intern for 3-6 months, ideally starting from February/March 2023. The intern will be mainly dedicated to assisting our Video Editor in building and promoting our youtube channel (Grow in 360 degrees).

The position has a flexible schedule, and the job can be done remotely.

Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer will work with the video editor and the CEO to create visually engaging concepts such as promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. Since we have a lot of video material, it would be great if you also had some video editing experience as well.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Creates original visual media for web or social media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
  • Chooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate
  • Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by the CEO
  • Consults and collaborates with the team to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message
  • Revises projects as necessary based on a collaborative feedback process.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software.
  • Ability to work independently on an assignment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • BONUS if you also have video editing skills, or youtube experience

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
  • At least one year of related work experience highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Additional Information

Usually, our interns stay between three to six months; the minimum duration of an internship with us is three months. Interns should be current Bachelor’s or Master’s students, re. have finished their degree within the last year. Please apply only if you are interested in internship under the ERASMUS program, or a similar, government-funded program (i.e. unemployed training, etc.).
