Internship at European Youth Movement Norway

Europeisk Ungdom / JEF Norway (European Youth Movement Norway) is a Norwegian non-profit youth organization working for a Norwegian EU-membership. Through 50 years we have worked to bring Europe and the EU closer to Norway by engaging youth in internationally minded activities, trips, workshops and politics. With headquarters located in Oslo, we have over 1000 members across the country and well over 100 volunteers who work on a daily basis to encourage the Norwegian people in favor of a Norwegian EU membership. 

We are politically neutral and are proud to have members from all across the political landscape. The day to day administration is done by the secretary general and the president, as well as the executive board. 

We are looking for an international-minded intern who would like to help our cause and bring Norway closer to Europe! 

Your duties would consist of:

• Organizational work

• Preparing social media advertising strategies

• Performing activities on Facebook, Instagram and our website

• Planning events

• Staying up to date with European issues

• Aiding the secretary general and the president

• Keeping in touch with our European partners

We are looking for someone passionate about political issues and who has experience or formal knowledge about the EU and youth organizations. Given the nature of this job we would prefer a Scandinavian native or someone who to an extent understands norwegian, but everyone is welcome to apply.
