In the framework of international research initiatives, out company is developing network simulations in cooperation with German and international partners. For these projects, we are looking for a committed student (m/f/d) who is eager to gain insights into current developments in the fields of military radio communication and network technology.
Your Responsibilities
- You will be involved in programming radio-based network simulations in C++ for a research project
- You define and simulate various scenarios, followed by a comparative analysis
- You define requirements and features in coordination Definition of requirements and features in coordination with the Research & Development (R&D) supervisor and, where necessary, with external partners
- You will be responsible for the Implementation of the above-mentioned technical and functional requirements
Your Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Computer Science, Communication Technology, Communications Engineering curriculum or similar
- Programming skills in C++ and familiarity with the OMNeT++ network simulator
- Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu)
- Good understanding of communication protocols (especially IP, TCP/UDP)
- Fluency in English is required
- High level of independence and self-initiative
- Ability to work in a team and motivation to working with international project partners
