Description: 

The intern will be involved in the Nematology group of Scientia Terrae which is focused on sustainable control strategies against plant-parasitic nematodes in horticultural crops. She/he will participate in ongoing in vitro, growth-chamber and greenhouse trials with biological nematicides.

The main tasks will be

  • Maintenance of nematode populations
  • Testing bionematicides against  plant parasitic nematodes in in vitro tests
  • To evaluate the efficacy of experimental bionematicides against plant parasitic nematodes in growth-chamber and greenhouse trials.
