Social Media Manager and/or TikTok creator

Tpoint Oy is a Finnish-based company that develops financial accounting systems for small businesses, as well as provides consulting services in IT.  In addition to financial accounting, Tpoint develops and implements a logistics solution for customs warehouses and freight forwarders in Finland.

We are seeking a marketing intern to identify potential markets and customers for our product, and to establish relationships with them. The role will involve researching and identifying industry applications for our product, communicating its technical capabilities to potential customers, and initiating contact with potential leads. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about our product and our mission, and who wants to make a positive impact on the world. The focus of the position will be on B2B sales and marketing efforts.

The internship can be tailored to personal interest & capabilities and could include development & support of the website design, SEO optimization, blog creation, training materials, social media management.

The duration of the internship is flexible (2 months minimum, longer periods preferred)

Your ideal profile:

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively convey messages, craft compelling press releases, and engage with media professionals.
• Media Savvy: Knowledge and understanding of various media channels, including print, online, and social media platforms. Awareness of media trends and the ability to navigate media landscapes.
• Writing Proficiency: Proficient in writing clear, concise, and engaging content for press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials. Attention to detail and strong editing skills.
• Research Skills: Strong research abilities to gather relevant information, identify target media outlets and influencers, and stay updated with industry trends and news.
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and generate innovative PR ideas to promote the brand, attract media attention, and engage with the target audience.
• Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals, influencers, and stakeholders. Strong networking skills and the ability to engage with key individuals in the industry.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple PR projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate events or campaigns.
• Adaptability: Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, navigate challenging situations, and work in a fast-paced PR environment.
• Passion for PR and the Industry: Genuine interest in public relations, media, and communications. A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and contributing to PR initiatives.

Important to qualify for Erasmus grant and Tpoint internship:

• Enrolled as a student at university in one of the EU countries
• Passionate about business and marketing and developing business relationships with potential customers.
• Enthusiasm and an interest in transporation and accounting industry.
• Basic working knowledge of G Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Able to develop creative solutions and manage tasks independently.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, ambitious, and motivated.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (at least B2 level).
