The main task in the position consists on dealing with incoming students and collaborating in the organization of our School of Languages. 

Description of assignments/tasks: 

  •  attending international students.
  •  Web administration.
  • increasing partnership base
  • register students in our School Languages in the different courses offered.
  • issue students certificates.
  • Any other tasks needed to provide effective support to a dynamic and friendly team
  • File tasks.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ASSISTANT

We are looking for an English trainee/assistant teacher who would be interested in doing his/her training. Our school is located in the centre of Castille La Mancha. We have different programmes implemented at school: bilingual studies and IB (International Baccalaureate). Our friendly environment will make you feel at home and you will learn and /or improve your language skills in Spanish. His/Her tasks would be to help our teachers to prepare some subjects in CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) as well as to practice oral English with them. This trainee teacher would also encourage students to speak English in class and work with small groups.

Compensation: 

No financial compensation. However, we will help to look for some private lessons or working in private local academies, as native speakers are always demanded. We will also help with accomodation (families are always willing to host native speakers).

Welcome to an Erasmus + assistant in our school!

Our school is a primary one with 10 classes for around 240 students aged 2 to 11. One of this class is a class for students with special needs. 

We use to work on Etwinning projects(around 20) , Comenius projects (4) since 2009. We asked for an Erasmus + project on March 2016 which is accepted... This project is about History for 3 years...

We also use to work with Comenius and Erasmus + assistants since 2009 for helping us teaching English in the different classes and also working on our projects. 

The assistant can offer us a new way to teach or to work with students. The assistant can also teach a subject that he/she has a special competence (for example : History, music, languages, ICT, art, and so on...)

Language and primary teaching assistant - Flexible duration

We are looking for a trainee to work alongside teachers in supporting the learning of children across the school in a range of curriculum areas. They will mainly support in developing language learning, increasing the confidence of pupils’ abilities to communicate in French whilst also developing their intercultural understanding of another country in Europe. There will be opportunities for the student to observe and work with a number of colleagues across the school to gain a good understanding of the English education system and observe how children learn in this setting. The student will have an opportunity to plan a project to enhance the learning of pupils at Spring Grove, based on their native country.

At Spring Grove we host a number of extra-curricular activities, which the student could take part in or add to, depending on their skills and interests. This would also provide the student with opportunities to work with the wider local community.

Our school is part of a schools partnership that supports the teaching of languages within primary schools so the student would gain from meeting colleagues from other local schools during these meetings.

The student would also be able to support in improving the links between our partner school in Paris, supporting in communications and project links.

We would be able to assist with finding accommodation. Our school is located in the borough of Hounslow, West London. There are excellent transport links into Central London, providing a wealth of attractions of educational and cultural interest. If the trainee cannot commit to 10 months, we would consider a shorter period for the placement. Prior to the trainee's arrival, they would be in contact with the main host contact who would be able to offer support and answer any questions. On arrival, the trainee would be met by the main contact and be given support in settling in and familiarizing themselves with the local area. We would offer opportunities for the student to gain a good cultural understanding of their host country by inviting them to social events or providing information on community events relevant to their interests. We would be able to offer financial support with one trip home via the cheapest means (up to 300 Euros) and lunch every day.

Teacher Assistant

We are looking for a student or a graduate willing to do a teaching training in Poland. The school has got experience both in Comenius exchange projects and Comenius Assistanship.
