We´re an early stage impact start-up with a small remote team who are developing an AI powered all-in-one platform with a global marketplace with services and products, booking management and Patreon like features for vendors and customers in the area of personal development, wellness and mindfulness.

About the role:

We're currently seeking an experienced Backend/Fullstack Engineer to join our team!

Be part of an international impact start-up and work remote with an experienced team of Entrepreneurs. In our early stage Start-up you´ll get exposure to all areas of the business and is encouraged to participate in finding new creative solutions. You will work closely with our CTO and other developers to build our new and innovative platform.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using Next.js

• Writing and testing clear, efficient and reliable TypeScript code.

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Using Tailwind CSS for styling components.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Frontend, Backend or Fullstack Developer

• Familiarity with Next.js and TypeScript, Prisma, Nest.js, Mongo db, Figma, webflow, Postgresql

The engineer will be involved in machine design, 3D printing, prototyping, testing, and iterating. • Designing parts using Autodesk Inventor CAD software (improving digital skills).
• Manufacturing parts using CAM software for 3D printing and CNC milling.
• Preparing molds for metal casting and post-processing of finished castings.
• Sourcing off-the-shelf components and custom parts from manufacturers.
• Prototyping, testing, debugging, and iterating the system.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, Catia, etc.).
• Experience designing mechanical parts. 
• Able to work and solve problems independently.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, ambitious, and motivated.

• Programming a touch screen graphical user interface for the Raspberry Pi with Python using GTK framework.
• Testing, debugging, and iterating the software.
