Position: International Volunteer Programs Coordinator

Working site: Barcelona

Schedule: Full-time, 35h / week

To start: As soon as possible

Responsibilities: 

• Creation and improvement of Volunteer Programs in Barcelona
• Coordination of the logistical operation: Airport pick-ups, clients management, tours, etc;
• Expansion and nurturing of our Social and Environmental partners' network: analyze, coordinate and manage the various needs
• Represent a B-Corp company pioneer in Sustainable Tourism
• Cross-selling of tourism programs to clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor in a relevant field (tourism, social work, management, or another relevant area)
• Experience in clients' service
• Ability to work autonomously with a remote team
• Very good English language skills (mandatory)
• Strong social and environmental drive

The Willink School is a  successful comprehensive school ideally located in the English county of Berkshire, near Reading and only 60 miles away from London, a 30 minutes ride by train.  Our school is generally oversubscribed and very popular with local students as we are a school with the International award label with great focus on Modern Foreign Languages. We are also using the target language in our lesson and we have regular visits from other partner school observing outstanding practice. We are always looking for  Foreign Language assistants for our 3 languages that we teach, Spanish, French and German. If you are interested, we would be very happy to send you an internship offer .

 The internship entails :- Up to 3 month work experience with us at The Willink school .  We are very flexible and you could join us in September of October 2024 or later in 2024 or 2025 if you wished and have longer stay if required.- The opportunity to have flexible hours, although the school day is generally from 9am to 3pm.- The opportunity to be working with professional teachers and helping with the language content in lesson.- The support of a mentor who can help with guidance and general support.- Working with 6 formers in small groups or one to one sessions.- The opportunity to take part in extra curricular activities and to run clubs. 

Although this is an unpaid position you will be offered incentives such as financial help with transport to and from school. Should you have any projects or research work with your university, you would also be more than welcomed to carry out your research in school.Please note however that this is not a teaching post and you will not be expected obviously to teach large group of students.Please do get back to me with any questions and if you are interested in this post, please let me know as I will be able to send you our offer.

Internship Description: We are seeking an Education Intern who is passionate about the intersection of performing arts and education. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and implementing educational programs, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and contributing to innovative projects that promote arts education.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of educational programs within schools and the broader community.
• Support the organization and facilitation of drama workshops, seminars, conferences, and training activities.
• Contribute to research projects related to theater education, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
• Assist in the development of educational materials, publications, and resources.

Qualifications:

Nous recherchons un ou une assistant(e) de langue anglaise pour accompagner notre équipe enseignante auprès des élèves de notre école. 

Il vous sera demandé : 

- d'assurer des cours d'anglais, et parfois de sport, mathématiques, arts, histoire ... avec des enfants de 3 à 11 ans en anglais . Vous ne serez toutefois pas seul avec les enfants car le professeur titulaire sera à vos côtés en classe si nécessaire pour vous aider à gérer le groupe.

- animer seul avec un petit groupe d'élèves des ateliers (conversation, jeux, théâtre ...) sur le temps du midi ou après la classe ;

- aider l'équipe enseignante et le personnel de l'école dans différents moments de la journée (surveillance de la cour, aide à la prise du repas des petits...)

The intern will work at the CRIL (Language Center and International Relations Office), a building located near the Civil engineering Department of the IUT (University Insitute of Technology). Our students have English classes as most of them will need to use English in their future professional careers if they work as technicians, engineers or researchers.   The Language Centre is equipped with computers, TV sets, bookcases containing magazines, novels, resources to prepare for the TOEIC and TOEFL tests...

• tutoring students who come to study languages on their own  
• organizing events and activities (conversation workshops, international students welcome parties, talks in foreign languages...) for university students and staff
• designing and posting material online for students to study in autonomy

 Required Skills

• Language skills: as most students are French native speakers and study English, it is essential to be an English native speaker but also to have basic communication skills in French. A good command of other languages would be a plus.
• Tutoring skills: some experience or qualification in language teaching would be appreciated but not compulsory

Then this project might just be the one for you :). This job shadowing opportunity allows you to learn about Biodiversity education and write a short thesis during a 3-month job shadowing. You will experience how teachers include different aspects of biodiversity into the curriculum and help educate pupils about the importance of biodiversity.

Expected learning outcomes: You deepen your knowledge on Biodiversity and observe how biodiversity can be integrated into the curriculum. Furthermore, you write an academic thesis on one key aspect of biodiversity (ungraded). 

Financial compensation: travel, accommodation, and a monthly allowance for subsistence are covered by the project.

 We are looking for volunteers, creative people interested in experiencing a stay in our international Art Residency one hour from Rome. Participants, from all over the world, will be involved in our projects to enrich our cultural residence. 
The volunteer will help in our artistic residency, situated one-hour car ride from Rome, 15 minutes from Rieti, near lakes, in a small village called Torricella in Sabina.
