State of Concept is looking for a curatorial research assistant to add to its team in Spring/Summer 2020. As an intern in curatorial research, the successful candidate will assist the curators with the preparations and research for upcoming exhibitions and public programs. Together with the curatorial team, the intern will specifically investigate aspects of art, ecology, and collective work. Interns must be curious, creative and eager to take initiatives. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in the arts, humanities or related field, and also possesses strong research and communication skills. 

This internship provides a great opportunity to develop hands-on experience in an internationally recognized contemporary art institution. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in an academic program that will allow them to receive funding from Erasmus + programs.

Film studio assistant

Your work as intern an editor will involve:

- Recording diferent videos about 4 local handcraft (interviews about 2-3 hours recording).
- Assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded in preparation for inputting into the computer inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronising and storing them into files on the computer.
- Digitally cutting files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what's usable, according with a previous structure guide.
