We are a Secondary school in a small city in Northern Spain, Logroño, in La Rioja.

We participate on Comenius and are applying for a new Erasmus Plus partnership fund.

ISTAC A.Ş., which was founded as an affiliate of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 1994, has been carrying out its environmental management works within the framework of national and international standards as of the day of its foundation.

We are looking for 2 students who wants to be at ISTAC A.Ş.‘s Industrial  Waste Management. Also, you can  apply for internship program during Spring Semester 2015.The start date will be clear after application/s. The students who wants to be trainee at İSTAC that has the following competences, skills and experience requirements :

• To know English (advanced level)
• To know  Windows 7 Pro, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• To have drivers license (Preferable)

The Official School of Languages of Valencia (Spain) is a publicly funded school specializing in foreign languages for adult students, aged between 18 and 55 years old. Our school is amongst the biggest in Spain, with a total number of 115 teachers and 15.000 students.

We teach and certify the A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 MCRE (Common European Framework of Reference) levels in 10 foreign languages: German, English, Italian, French, Portuguese, Russian,  Arabic, Chinese, Valencian and Spanish for foreigners.

We are a multicultural institution and our students are either studying at university or are professionals from various fields. All of them wish to deepen their language skills in order to improve their careers or broaden their cultural knowledge.

The purpose of this presentation is to express our full availability to host students who are either in their final years or doing their master's, preferably in the field of Humanities, Languages, Translation, Language Teaching, etc. in order to spend a period of supervised practice in our center, within the European Program Erasmus.

Nous offrons un poste d'assistant/e de langue maternelle française pour enseigner l'histoire dans nos classes EsaBac, lycéens de 16-19 ans, en co-présence avec le professeur italien d'histoire pour un maximum de 12 heures par semaine. Nous souhaiterions une préparation/expérience dans le domaine de l'enseignement et une motivation à travailler avec des jeunes.

As a language school we try to promote the cultural exchange with different countries, and we think that having an assistant in every language we teach really enhances that cultural and linguistic exchange. The experience is thus enriching for our students, for the staff and for the assistants themselves.

Coming from a different education background, the assistant can also provide a different view on the process of learning, together with very useful information about a different educational system that makes the European dimension of the Erasmus+ program come true.

From our experience, assistants are also highly motivated to improve their knowledge of Spanish language and culture and this motivation is a real example for our own students. 

The areas of work the Assistant will be involved in could be:

• Providing information on their country: culture and educational system
• Assisting with language teaching with activities such as oral practice and simulation of real life situations.
• Assisting with the organisation of extra curricular activities: cooking contests, quizzes, festivities…
• Assisting with culture workshops.
• Helping with the production of real material, as for example recordings, picture questions….
• Preparing and leading conversation activities in small groups (5 to 6 students).
• Assisting teachers in class, providing information about cultural background, customs and traditions in the assistant’s country.

   

This traineeship is addressed to students interested in combining Languages and Administrative work in our State Language School.

Flexible dates from 15th September to 15th July. 

During the traineeship period, the intern will

- assist our administrative staff in the enrolment process of students.

- Process the students\' applications in the school database.

- be introduced in the functioning of the different departments of Modern Languages.

- assist the Heads of the language departments in tasks such as organisation of department libraries and some other paper work.

Our current Erasmus trainees would be willing to share their experience with possible applicants.
