Tourist guide

Vrtovi Lusnjskih maslina (Lun olive grove gardens) is the name of a EU project for the development of tourism in the area of Lun.

Lun is the northest settlement on the island of Pag (Croatia) and in its area there is a forest of wild olive trees that covers approximately 400 hectares. In this area there are approximately 80.000 olive trees and among those, 1.000 trees are estimated to be older than 1.000 years.

Part of this area is a botanical reserve, and the most attractive part, through the project Vrtovi lunjskih maslina has been valorized as a tourist destination. In 2023 around 25.000 guests visited the Gardens.

The trainees will be involved in all the activities that will be related to the olive grove: tour organization and guiding, giving information and ticketing, maintenance and cleaning of the area.

At the same time the trainees will be involved in all the back office and in the preliminary activities, such as creating content for the upcoming website and for social media; creating and distributing surveys and analysing visitor flow and preparing statistical analysis.

On a voluntary basis, the trainee could be involved in the organized events (concerts, theater, etc).

Priority goes for Czech, Slovak, Polish, Hungarian speaking candidates, but other applications will be evaluated aswell

Job description

As an intern, you will provide support to the Marketing & Communications Manager to help him achieve his objectives in a context of rapid development of our projects and activities in Belgium:

  • Supporting the implementation of marketing and communication actions to grow our user community (acquisition, retention, engagement, animation, etc.)
  • Support in implementing the Digital Marketing strategy (SEO, SEA, Newsletters, E-mailing, Community management, Social network management, etc.)

    Duties/ Responsibilities:

    By joining the collective, you can choose to be responsible for some of the following tasks. Please state in your application which ones you would prefer.

    * Collaborate in the design and communication of exhibitions and cultural activities (which can happen in a white cube space, a site-specific space or a public space).

    * Document, write and manage content for the website and social media.

    * Support the creation of the publications of mais uno +1 (online/physical): such as Catalogs, Artist Books, Editions, etc.

    * Collaborate in the development of merchandising and multiples for Maisunomaisum (such as printed editions and other products)

    Duties/ Responsibilities:

    By joining the collective, you can choose to be responsible for some of the following tasks. Please state in your application which ones you would prefer.

    * Collaborate in the design and communication of exhibitions and cultural activities (which can happen in a white cube space, a site-specific space or a public space).

    * Document, write and manage content for the website and social media.

    * Support the creation of the publications of mais uno +1 (online/physical): such as Catalogs, Artist Books, Editions, etc.

    * Collaborate in the development of merchandizing and multiples for Maisunomaisum (such as printed editions and other products)

    * Help organizing and cataloging the photo and video documentation of our projects;

    * Consult and collaborate with the team to understand the project assignment, audience, and intended message.

    * Revise projects as needed, based on a collaborative feedback process.

    * Perform other related duties upon assignment, with the possibility to help with other mais uno +1 activities or assist the resident artists.

     

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    * Excellent communication skills in English: written and in-person.

    * Excellent skills in graphic / editorial design skills and can work with website platforms such as Cargo Collective

    * Proactivity, autonomy and responsibility

    * Ability to deal directly with people/friendliness

    * Ability to work with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and Indesign

    * Ability to work with social media platforms (instagram)

    * Ability to work independently on an assignment.

    Tpoint Oy is a Finnish-based company that develops financial accounting systems for small businesses, as well as provides consulting services in IT.  In addition to financial accounting, Tpoint develops and implements a logistics solution for customs warehouses and freight forwarders in Finland.

    We are seeking a sales/business development intern to identify potential markets and customers for our product, and to establish relationships with them. The role will involve researching and identifying industry applications for our product, communicating its technical capabilities to potential customers, and initiating contact with potential leads. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about our product and our mission, and who wants to make a positive impact on the world. The focus of the position will be on B2B sales and marketing efforts.

     

    The internship can be tailored to personal interest & capabilities and could include development & support of the website design, SEO optimization, blog creation, training materials, social media management.

    The duration of the internship is flexible (2 months minimum, longer periods preferred)

    Responsibilities & duties:

     

    • Researching target markets for our product and identifying the target customer profiles. 
    • Connecting with potential customers, learning about their businesses, and determining how our product can solve their problems.

    Qualifications:
